The intricacies of the procedure for preparing and writing a thesis have technically been explained in the Guidelines for Writing Thesis Masters in History, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, UNDIP. Students are required to have the manual. - Discussion of Thesis Preproposal
The thesis proposal plan is discussed/discussed in the Bibliography and Archives Research course. - Thesis Pre-Proposal Improvement
Students improve the thesis proposal plan by accommodating inputs from other students and lecturers. - Seminar
The revised proposal plan and completed with data and descriptions of research results are discussed and discussed in the History Seminar course. - Improvement of the Proposal Plan
Students improve the proposal plan by accommodating inputs from both students and lecturers. - Submission of Proposals
Students submit a thesis proposal to the MIS FIB UNDIP Study Program.
Proposal Assessment
Management of the MIS FIB UNDIP Study Program assesses the feasibility of the thesis proposal. - Proposal Approval
If deemed appropriate, then the Head of the MIS FIB UNDIP Study Program will determine the thesis supervisors according to their expertise as determined through the FIB Dean’s Decree. If the proposal is deemed inappropriate, the student with the guidance of the Study Program manager is asked to improve it or propose another topic and submit it back to the Study Program. - Guidance
Students conduct research and write theses and articles for publication under the guidance of two supervisors. - Research Results Seminar
After the research and thesis writing is completed, students submit a Research Results Seminar. The Research Results Seminar was openly attended by lecturers and students from the MIS FIB UNDIP Study Program as well as from outside the study program. - Improvement of Thesis and Article Drafts
Students improve the drafts of theses and articles according to the inputs at the time of the research seminar. Articles that have been corrected are then sent for publication in accredited national or international scientific journals. - Application for Thesis Examination
Students submit an application for a thesis test to the MIS-FIB UNDIP Study Program. - Implementation of Thesis Examination
Students take the thesis exam with the composition of the examiner team consisting of 4 examiners lecturers (2 supervisors and 2 examiners) - Thesis Improvement
Students make improvements to the thesis according to the inputs from the examiner team in the thesis exam. - Thesis Endorsement
After the thesis revision is approved by the examiner team, then the thesis is approved by the Dean. - Thesis Submission
Students submit three copies of theses and their soft copies to the MIS FIB UNDIP Study Program for further distribution to the Department Library and UNDIP Postgraduate Program.
